How to check used tires? bubble
This is a hard one, how can you find a bubble in a used tire? For you who never had this issue before, a bubble results from a separation of the steel belted in the tire itself, it can happened for several reason, like over inflation, hit a curb, or just a week point on the steel belt itself. It happened on the side wall of the tire most of the time. What you will do to detect this issue before you buy a used tire and you will walk a way without put them on a wheels right a way?
The answer it is:
Very difficult to detect this one without put the tire on a rim and inflate it and then check the tire for any bubble. But there is one thing you may do. Look for any wavy area, or something like a dip in side of the tire, then go over it by your hand and press it, see if it will be easily stretched

I discovered this issue when a customer bough from me a set of 195/65R15 the tires look excellent, have very good tread, close to new, no visible fault and he was happy with the price; but after he went a cross the street to install them, found the forth tire has a bubble, the gentleman called me, I returned his money for the forth one ; because he installed the three already, and the tire shop solved the issue by getting a same size tire for a good price as well, we all ware happy ; but defiantly this brought the issue of testing up front for me. !
